Summer can be a difficult time to try and keep kids busy. Its hot, there are few activities that keep kids busy all day, or even for long periods of time. So you often hear those awful words, “I’m Bored!” So it is useful to have a bunch of different activities around that can be easily picked up and done throughout the course of the day.
This incredibly fun and creative craft comes from the Melissa and Doug Blog. Melissa and Doug toys are great for children, they are interactive, creative, and foster a learning environment during play. They are also great for the environment wince they try to use natural materials. The Boy’s Store loves Melissa and Doug toys, we even offer several in our store. Their goal is much the same as ours, to help kids.
This fun craft can be done at home with very few materials, and will allow children to experiment with their creative side. It can also be played with afterwards and foster imaginary play.
